Trade waste is waterborne waste (other than a prohibited substance, human waste or stormwater) from a business, trade, or manufacturing premises. It is important to manage and monitor trade waste to prevent blockages or damages to the sewerage system and environment. Additional information about the requirements for trade waste monitoring can be found on the Queensland Urban Utilities website.

The team at SAS Laboratory has extensive experience in the analysis of all types of trade waste, and a broad knowledge of the regulatory requirements. We can assist you with trade waste management plan requirements, on-going self-monitoring programs, or waste stream characterisation projects.

Whilst SAS Laboratory is owned by Queensland Urban Utilities, we maintain our independence in line with our NATA accreditation. We guarantee that any results produced by SAS Laboratory are communicated only to the client who has commissioned the work with SAS Laboratory and/or a third party as directed by the client.
