Water collection technique for water testing purposesThere are many risks associated with the recreational use of coastal, estuarine and fresh waters. These include natural hazards such as surf, rip, currents and aquatic organisms, and those associated with industrial activities such as sewage and waste discharge.

SAS Laboratory has a National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accredited sampling team and a variety of watercraft that enables us to perform in-situ testing and sample collection from most waterways. We also perform relevant laboratory tests to allow clients to assess the water quality against the recommendations of the Guidelines for Managing Risks in Recreational Water.
